The $17 Billion Bottled Water Industry, and Why It Might Be Lying to You

Welcome to White Coat Black Sheep, where science gets curious and dogma gets

uncomfortable. I'm your host, Dr. Sevali.

Today, we talk physiology, evidence, and real-world medicine, plus the questions

you're not supposed to ask but probably should.

If you care about your health and think there's a better way, welcome to the show.

Today with me, we have Ms. Rhonda Vaughn. Thank you so much for joining me today.

How are you?

Doing great. And thanks for having me.

Yeah. I know this is not your usual afternoon.

That's right.

What inspired you to come on? I love that you did, and I'm so honored that you're

ready and willing to share your afternoon with me.

I was inspired to step out of my comfort zone.

I love that.

Your team reached out to me.

That's awesome.

And I thought maybe I'm doing something right.

Yeah.

Maybe I do want to share this.

Please, yeah.

Yeah.

Let's start from the beginning. I want to hear everything.

Well, initially, I was looking for my own water, something that was

clean, that was not heavy. I didn't have to haul in cases from Costco and stuff

like that.

Yes.

And I was concerned about how much plastic I was throwing in my blue can and

rolling it out every week to the curb or every other week.

Yeah.

And it got like just-- I was looking, and then one day I happened to be sitting in

my beautician's chair, and she's like, "Hey, have you heard about this?" And I was

like, "What are you talking about?" And I was like, "Oh, that bottle's pretty." And

we started talking about it, and she started talking to me about it, and it just

took off from there. It just made sense.

So what is the product called?

So I'm involved with

Kangen water.

Okay.

And it's

ERW water-

Okay

... which is like an electrons... Sorry, I'm terrible.

ERW.

Yeah.

I don't think I'm familiar with that.

Okay, let me just tell you what-

Yeah

... it stands for.

Start from the beginning.

I'm a little nervous, though. Bear with me.

No, don't be.

Okay. So ERW is electrolyzed reduced water.

Yep.

And that means that

it is-- Some people say, "Oh, it's alkaline water," but it's not alkaline water.

It actually goes through a machine that's with titanium plates-

Okay

... and platinum, and it is actually electrolyzed back into the water like the

Earth's water is.

That's awesome.

Like a lightning bolt or something like that.

Like alive. It's not dead, distilled-

Correct

... water.

It puts it live back into our water.

Yes, please.

Our water is so dead because infrastructures are so harsh and stuff like that to

keep their pipes clean, but we're drinking that.

Yeah.

And that was a concern of mine. And so I don't need rusty pipes

medicine or chemicals going into my body.

So-

Trace elements, mercury.

Thank you. All of those.

Don't need it either.

Yeah, we're not worried about infrastructure.

We're worried about our human body and what it can take.

Yeah.

And so ERW, it separates the heavy metals and stuff like that

from the good stuff, the hydrogen, and all the stuff that goes through our machine.

So it gives you the right acidity.

It separates the acidity.

Yeah.

Yeah. So it balances your body.

Okay.

Your alkalinity in your body. So I mean, your body should be a 9.5 or greater,

and a lot of our tap water is a seven point whatever.

And-

So it's very acidic.

It's-- Yes.

On the scale of-

Tap water can be very acidic.

Huh.

People want to drink Gatorade because they think that it's hydrating and

electrolysis.

More acidic.

Higher acidity.

Yeah.

Yeah. Like diet soda.

Coke, yeah.

Soda of any kind is really high on the scale.

And the higher acidity is more aging.

And so it starts aging-

No, thanks.

Yeah. So it starts aging you.

Raise my pH, please.

Thank you. Yeah. So it starts aging you from the inside out.

And I mean, it's like-

Say no more.

Yeah.

But go on.

It affects your liver and your kidneys.

And there's been studies done, and individuals have just

testified that it's lowered their blood sugar.

It's lowered, like my mom's, off of her, not mine personally, but people have

testified that my mom got off of her diabetes medicine.

My mom got off of her blood-

Wow

... pressure medicine because she's on this water.

She's drinking it daily, and she's not drinking high acidities.

It has other benefits to it. It's got seven different levels on our machine.

Not only is it a hydrating drinking water, but it also has a cleaning, it has

beauty, it has good for the formula for baby formula, and stuff like that.

That's fantastic.

And it's not contributing to the problem of the Earth.

We have this big old island the size of Texas and three feet deep that's floating

in the middle of the Earth. And that bothers me because the fish is eating the

plastic, and then we're eating the fish.

Yeah.

So you're looking at cancer just like a flow of cancer.

Oh.

And that's not what nature was intended to be.

Definitely. I know I've done specialty labs on myself, and the

microplastics show up.

Oh.

I was shocked because I didn't want to believe in it.

I wanted to say, "Oh, that's just hype." It feels political, but it

was in my blood.

Absolutely.

And I was shocked that it was enough so to be above the reference range.

Yeah. It's in everything.

Yeah.

I mean, everything seems to go to plastic.

And when we started drinking out of plastic and plastic cups and Gatorade bottles,

plastic water bottles-

Yeah

... it seems like that's when cancer kind of got on the rise, like late '70s, '80s.

Yeah.

And it just started rising. I mean, there's no definite why it happened.

Yeah.

We have our

speculations of who's on our side and who's not.

Well, money seems to be the-

Yes

... winner.

Yeah, it does.

Good point.

Because, I mean, pharmaceuticals, they're getting their money.

Mm-hmm.

They get money to treat, not to cure.

Yeah.

And so-

It's true

... we really have to take responsibility for our own health and for things that we

put into our body. And so that's how I got started. That's how I love it.

I agree. Love that.

It's got a great team behind it. It's been around for 50 years from Japan.

Oh, wow.

And so the longevity, people in Japan live a lot better, cleaner, healthier.

I think there's a blue zone over there.

There's a blue zone over there in

Ashimi?

Okinawa?

Is it Okinawa?

We'll look that one up.

I think it is in Okinawa.

Yeah.

And then, yeah, that's one of the blue zones.

Yeah.

And that's what this mimics is those blue zones.

There's one in Greece and Costa Rica, and so that's what this mimics is the

Earth is an ionized core.

Mm-hmm.

And so when lightning hits the water, it

puts life back into that water.

Isn't that crazy?

It's amazing.

It seems like voodoo.

That is true.

It's real.

Because we've been indoctrinated to think that that's voodoo.

Yeah.

That's not Western-

Like ooh, but-

Yeah

... we run on charges, positive and negative. We are a body of radiance.

What's grounding all about? You know what I mean?

Yeah.

And yeah. So I mean, I think that we think, "Oh, that's not true.

That's voodoo."

It's physics.

Because we've been told differently-

Yeah

... to depend on the government and to not-

Stop thinking.

Yeah. Put your shoes on. Don't go barefoot and stuff like that.

But that's one of the best things you can do is go barefooted and get grounded.

It really is.

You know how you feel so good, it's not just beautiful, but walking at the beach.

Yes.

That's totally charging, that's physically charging your body back, the sunlight.

It feels like it, too.

It does. People always say, "Oh, I feel better at the beach." There's a reason.

Yeah.

There's a real reason why we feel better at the beach.

Yeah.

You know?

And I feel like even for myself, the colors make a difference.

So there's some energy with transfer of the way that the light refracts off of the

blues, right? The blues really resonate for me.

Right.

I feel like a happier, better, bouncier version of myself.

Bright blue water, that's all. That's all I need.

That's all I need. Just give me some good blue water.

For me.

Yeah. I would be okay if I could live there.

I know, right?

Yeah. Just clean air.

Yeah.

And unfortunately, we live in one of the dirtiest air pollution places, and so we

have to just take-

Air's a little thick

... air's a little thick, a little soupy bowl that we live in here.

I know.

Yeah.

I mean, it could be worse. There's definitely different, I don't know, edges that

have worse pockets of air. I don't want to name any-

Right

... specifics, but-

We're definitely at the bottom, at the end of the valley where we get a lot of the

swirl.

Yeah.

And so we have a lot of pollution.

Yeah.

And so yeah, we just have to take control where we can-

Right

... and start from the inside out with some good water.

Yeah, definitely. So glass bottle is how it's packaged?

No, actually it's the machine. It can't-

Oh, it's a whole apparatus.

Yeah. Live water can't be packaged.

Oh, okay.

So whenever another company tells you, "This is alkaline water," or, "This is

whatever," you cannot package alkaline water.

It's alive-

I was wondering about that

... when it flows through the machine.

Yeah.

And so anything, if you look on some of your clean waters or your alkaline waters,

look on their ingredients.

Mm-hmm.

And why do they have ingredients on water?

Like the pH balance. I buy that. I honestly like the way the packaging looks.

Right.

I'm a victim of it.

Yeah.

I think it looks very modern, but it is in a plastic container.

I don't want that much.

And that's marketing. You like the way-

Yes

... the packaging looks because it's nicely marketed.

It is. Yes.

But there's a reason why, the question why it has ingredients plural on the back.

If it's water-

Yeah

... why does it have extras in it?

Yeah.

What did they have to put in it to make it-

I don't know

... alkaline and-

It tastes slightly sweet.

Right.

I think it has a sweet taste.

So yeah, I think that they use baking soda of some sort-

Stop

... to, yeah, that's how they market it, as alkaline.

That's a hack.

It is. There's no true live water out there unless you flow it through.

Yeah. That makes total sense.

And yeah. Our machine hooks up to your kitchen, and I believe that it's going to be

in every home in the next 10 to 15 years.

It's going to be one of the appliances that we all depend on.

Is this a tax write-off?

It is.

Oh.

Did you know that?

No.

It's considered a medical device. This is used in Japan in lots of hospitals.

I love that.

And it's actually a medical device, and so it's a-

Okay

... full tax write-off.

That's wonderful.

You have your plumber hook it up. It's got some

pre-stage filters that you want to use because of our water being so harsh.

You don't want that harsh water going through your machine.

It is. Or, I think it affects the color. Not that I'm mostly natural blonde.

I'm kidding.

Yeah. Then, the company also has a

machine for your shower. This one's for-

It'd be great

... your kitchen, and then-

Yeah

... I have the one in the shower, too.

You get out, you don't feel like your dry skin in an hour, and like, you know.

I deal with dry skin.

Yeah.

It's very frustrating.

So it's the beauty.

Ah.

And the beauty is the-

I mean, your skin looks fantastic.

Well, thank you.

It's glowy.

Yeah, I appreciate that. So

the beauty is actually the 6.0.

Mm-hmm.

And that can be used, it's good for your skin.

It's good as a toner instead of spending your $40, $70 for a bottle of toner at

your favorite cosmetic counter.

Yeah.

This is actually a toner.

Wow.

Probably half your liver, I would imagine.

It's good for your hair. It's a natural detangler.

Yes, please.

I don't know about you, but when I was a little girl, I hated my hair to be combed.

So I wish my mom would've had this a long time ago.

Yeah.

And it's good for your skin. It's good for acne.

We even have a

2.5 that we actually just give it away in little spray bottles-

Yeah

... that if you have a sore throat, you can go .

Ooh.

If you had a stye or something going on in your eye-

Ooh

... you can... I mean, it's so clean.

A lot of people have-

Yeah

... an issue with that.

Yeah.

Can I get samples from you?

I meant to grab you some samples. I'm so ashamed of myself.

No, it's okay.

No, definitely.

I can give you my clinic information.

Yeah. I should have brought you a gallon of water, but I didn't want to bring you a

9.5, and then sometimes it's harsh.

So it's really recommended that you start out with an 8, an 8.5-

Okay

... and then you drink that for about a week.

Oh.

And then we'll move up to a 9.

Okay.

And then you drink that for about a week, and then you go to a 9.5, because this is

so... It will clear you out and detox.

Yeah.

It will give you a headache if you just jump from a 9.5.

Okay.

You know what I mean?

Yeah.

So you want to take your time, and so I'll just have to drop it off to you every

couple of days. And like-

Work up to it

... give me two empties, I'll give you two fulls, and we'll like, you know.

Deal.

I want to know how you feel. I want your testimony.

I'm not trying to sell you a machine.

Yeah. No, I'm not.

I'm not trying to sell machines.

Yeah.

I'm just trying to get people out there and get them smart about what's available-

Yeah

... and what's not good for us.

Yeah.

We've been programmed that, let's take Gatorade to the kids' soccer game.

Yeah.

We're not doing them any justice.

No.

In the long term-

Sure.

Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Let's use this fluoride baby formula or baby water for our babies.

Yeah.

I'm sorry, but that's like, we've been told that it's okay, but-

Yeah

... in the long run, I don't think it's okay.

There's a rise in a lot of things that I think that we put a stop to.

I agree.

You know?

Preservatives are in everything.

I think that is something that it's really not talked about a lot, and it's a

game changer. To avoid preservatives is nearly impossible, but-

And it's expensive to eat clean.

Very expensive, yeah.

And then you go, you're thinking you're going to the greatest health food store to

buy your groceries, and you find out-

Yeah

... and then you're like, "Oh."

It's a sham. It's been marketing.

Yeah, exactly.

Yeah.

But I think that preservatives is another thing that's being used against us.

It's marketing.

Yeah.

And it's like, they put those, even when we were kids, they put these...

Well, I'm sure, obviously you weren't.

When I was a kid-

I'm 42, I don't know your age.

No, they used to put the children's cereals-

Yeah

... on their cartoons in the morning.

It was so fun.

And it's like, "Mommy, I want that cereal."

Yeah.

And then they throw a fit in the grocery store until they get that cereal.

You know what I mean?

Yeah.

So they hook the kids from a very young age about-

Yep

... eating junk.

Yeah, or McDonald's, you get a little toy.

Oh, don't get me started on McDonald's, girl.

Some people live on McDonald's.

Oh my gosh, that's so gross. If you think about it-

I can't

... I can't. You look at some of these videos, and there's a hamburger that's been

there for two years, and it doesn't look any different.

Yeah.

Oh, honey, we got a problem.

That grosses me out.

Right?

Yeah.

And then all the conspiracy, I don't even want to think about some of the stuff

that I've heard about McDonald's. It's just gross.

I know. There's a lot out there, and I think some of it might be drama, but a lot

of it's probably true. Where there's smoke, there's fire.

Yeah. Well, they don't raise their own beef. I don't know where it comes from.

Yeah. I've heard a lot of interesting, like lab foods exist.

Right.

I can't imagine that becoming a real thing, but like-

But it has.

Ugh.

I was so disgusted because I'm a big shopper of Sprouts, and I heard that Sprouts

is going to be putting lab-grown meat in their stores.

Did they disclose this? Is it something that's mandated for disclosure?

I don't know. Again, that's why it needs to be taken off.

Yeah. Because I want a higher food intelligence, but it's-

I trust them

... so hard.

I shop there because I trust them. I don't want no sneaky, like with the left hand

what the right hand's doing this. I don't want that in my store.

Yeah, smoke and mirrors.

Yes.

There's a lot of that.

Yeah.

Yeah. So when it comes to making good food choices or water choices, it's huge.

It is hard.

That's my current goal.

Yeah.

I want to know better, do better.

Do you have kids?

No.

Oh.

I have a Yorkshire Terrier.

Oh, I've seen that. I have one, too.

She's perfect.

She is one. Mine's perfect, too. Her name's Jojo.

Jojo.

Yeah.

Mine is Jax.

Okay. I seen you had one, I'm like, "Oh my gosh."

Yep.

Yeah.

Yeah. So-

And that's what my water, my dogs drink my water out of the lab as well.

Oh.

And my dogs drink my water as well.

I feel more inspired to do this for Jax over me.

Okay. Yes. So a lot of people get started, like I've heard people having to give

their dogs shots two times a week, and they're like, oh, their dogs have all these

allergies. They put them on the water, the 7.0-

Oh

... the clean water. It's non-alkalized.

Uh-huh.

And so it's just a neutral water.

Mm-hmm.

And their dogs stop itching, scratching, shedding.

Wow.

Yeah.

He licks his feet a lot, so I know that's allergies.

Ooh, that's yeast.

Yeah.

Yeah.

So-

So this water would be really good for Jax.

Okay, love that.

Yeah.

That's-

Yeah, that would be

... yeah. Well-

If

for not for me, for my dogs, you know what I mean?

Yeah.

I would do anything for my dogs, and most people would.

Totally. Yeah, he's on collagen. And anything, if there was more options for dogs-

So how do you give a dog a collagen? How do you give a dog-

A dropper.

Okay.

And I just drop it into his food, so yeah, it's really easy.

So if I just took my powder collagen, can I give it to my dogs? It's safe?

Should be fine. I

don't know the one that you would have. Send me a picture of it.

Right.

But I feel like if it's just-

Yeah

... stuff that is fine for you, most of the time it's also fine for them.

Right.

There's exceptions that I found out recently, like grapes are toxic for them.

Certain nuts.

Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

So I'm not a vet.

Right.

But I would probably just take a picture of the back, and then ChatGPT, and then-

Right. So I found this thing off the subject.

I found sweet potatoes at Costco, and they have no ingredients except for sweet

potatoes. So I don't feel guilty when I'm snacking, and then my dogs are begging,

and then I can give them one.

That's so good.

Right?

A little family. I love that.

Yeah. I'm like, "I'm going to get these because I know it's safe for them to eat."

Yeah.

Isn't that good?

Otherwise, you're just getting a hard stare.

Oh, no. Yeah.

They're like intense.

Eyes wide open probably for about 10 years.

Wow.

And trying to eat clean, do right.

During COVID, it got hard, you know what I mean?

Yeah.

Excuse me. I went through a lot personally and stuff like that, so then I just

didn't care, and buying the name brands and stuff like that, and not eating as

clean as I wanted to.

Mm-hmm.

So yeah, I'm a backslider. I'll be the first one to say.

But not my water. I've stuck with my water for... I take a bag. It comes in a bag.

Mm-hmm.

You can fill up, you get these plastic bags with a handle.

Yeah.

I take my water and I put it in my sink, and I fill up my water.

And whenever I go with my friends, I bring my water.

I have my water bottle-

That's good

... and then I have my bag of water.

Oh, cute.

I do not buy plastic. And if I'm thirsty, I won't drink out of a plastic bottle of

water.

Oh, that's-

Somebody like, "Do you want some water?" "No, thank you."

I'd rather die. Thank you so much.

I'm not looking to die anytime soon. I think this thirst will be okay.

That's funny.

Yeah.

I have to say, I always try to think devil's advocate and just question is

something hype, or is it real? Is there any evidence behind it?

What's the evidence behind it? And I feel like I was raised drinking tap

water. I didn't really give it any thought.

We did have water filters at certain points during my life growing up.

But then, I went to college at 17, 18, and at that point,

if there's bottled water, awesome. If there's tap water, don't mind it.

Right. Hey, when I was growing up, we were drinking out of the water hose, okay?

So, I mean-

Yeah. I'm that era

... yeah. And I'm thinking maybe

our water wasn't so bad back then.

Maybe.

Maybe we were more tolerant. I don't know.

But-

I bet if they compared it, it seems like it would be probably worse.

I would imagine there's more heavy metal.

Now?

Then.

Then?

Don't you think we at least know to look for more things now?

It's just, the late '70s, when they started putting fluoride in our water and stuff

like that, you know what I mean?

Yes.

And it's like, I don't know.

And it was based on nothing.

Right.

It was based on terrible or absence of evidence.

Yeah. It was definitely based on absence of evidence, and probably a dentist wanted

us to put it in there for our health. Let's just note.

Yeah. I actually read a lot about fluoride in the water and fluoride

treatments back when, I would say it was undergrad years.

It's probably 2000, early 2000s for sure.

But, yeah, I was shocked at how little evidence there was.

There's a lot of doctors that don't still to this day believe in it.

No.

I'm on the fence. I'm just like, why are we doing this?

Because it does knock out elements and then steals from your bones, steals from

your teeth. But it forces-

So why did they put it in there? You know?

I don't know. I don't know. We need a dentist on here. Yeah.

I don't know. Maybe we should ask the Rockefellers.

Oh, are they involved, too?

I think the Rockefellers have been involved.

Money and power.

Absolutely.

Sugar.

They've been involved since the 1920s.

Oh.

'40s. I think '20s.

Yeah.

It's kind of like when the Rockefellers figured that there was money in petroleum

medicine.

Yep.

And there's money in medicine, not in healing.

Yeah.

And so we took away all the basics of what people knew-

Sure

... about healing.

Yeah.

And then they took over the schools, and the fluoride in our water-

Yeah

... and they took over so many things that it's just crazy.

Yeah.

And whenever you talk like this, people think, "Oh, she's crazy."

Mm-hmm.

But it's like that's how we've been raised.

We're just asking questions.

Yeah. And that's what we need to happy asking questions.

Yeah.

Why does your water have more than an ingredient on the back of the bottle?

That's weird to me.

Why does your cereal have 15 to 20 ingredients that you can't even pronounce-

Yeah

... that you're feeding your kids?

Yeah.

Let's talk about antibiotics that are put in our beef-

Yeah

... in our chicken, and you know-

Mm-hmm

... and that's all for marketing, to get-

Yeah

... better, plumper meat.

Yeah.

That's why our kids are getting plumper.

Yeah.

Because they're eating those hormones.

Metabolic disorders.

Yes.

Yeah.

And I just think it's not just about the water, it's about a lot of things.

Yeah. And really the consequence that I see is how your immune

system is taking the hit.

Right.

And the term inflammaging, like getting older, your body's aging right from the

inside, and you're losing a lot of those signals that should otherwise exist or

still be produced by your body. But that's what we're impacting.

Right. But when you start feeling like that, then you go to the doctor for them to

give you a pill to feel better.

Yeah. And then that knocks down your microbiome, and then you lose a lot of your

ability further to fight the next threat.

Yeah. I was on Gabapentin for a long time.

When I was looking for the water, I was looking for clarity because I just felt

like I was living in a bubble, and I wasn't sure if it was-

Didn't feel good

... something personally I went through or-

Yeah

... why I felt like I couldn't go outside this bubble.

What year was that?

Just like, well, I got off of Gabapentin probably in the last six months.

Good job.

But I was on it for-

That's hard

... probably eight to 10 years.

Ugh.

For a back-

Extra good job.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And so I went to my doctor and I said, "I can't think."

Yeah.

I have protocols. I have things that I need to remember, and I cannot...

I work in a large group that I have to remember specialties and this, that, and the

third.

Just orthopedic surgery. The small things.

Just orthopedic, yeah. So I mean, I work in the office, but I have to remember my

doctor's protocols and stuff like that.

And so I go to him, and I'm like, "I just can't think. I really want to be off.

Everything I read, I think it's the Gab.

I want off."

Mm-hmm.

"Please, just take me off."

Were there times you tried to stop it on your own?

Oh my gosh, yeah.

What did you experience?

Worse headaches, worse pain, higher inflammation.

I mean, the water is good for you to take care of inflammation.

Mm-hmm.

But my back is so bad. I'm six foot tall to begin with.

And so-

I didn't notice-

Yeah. So-

I didn't notice that. I must've been in my thoughts when we were-

Probably

... first meeting.

Probably one of the only people who ever said, "How tall are you?"

Yeah. So,

I've always had back problems. I slouch. I've had back problems.

I've had surgeries. And it's not something that...

I mean, back when I had surgery, I don't even think I thought about it, like, "Is

there other things that I could be doing besides going under the knife?"

Yeah.

But I went under the knife because that's what I was told that was only going to

fix it.

Yep.

And now I'm kind of stuck on an anti-inflammatory and stuff like that.

So when I tried to go off Gabapentin on my own, I was so sick.

Yeah.

And then, so I got off. I was on for eight years.

I finally got off, and it's a whole new world out here.

Oh, I'm glad for you.

I mean, I see things. I can remember extensions now at work.

Yeah.

Not just who does what, but I can remember their PC's extensions and stuff.

Wow.

You know? And-

You can bounce back

... I can, yeah. You can bounce back.

Yeah.

It's never too late to get off of it.

Love that.

A lot of people think, "Oh, I'm stuck on it," because you do have a bad side

effect-

Yep

... of getting off, the withdrawals.

It's miserable.

I feel so bad for people that live on the street that we...

The withdrawals and stuff like that.

Yeah.

That's no game.

Yeah.

People, drug addicts and stuff like that.

Yep.

I do feel bad for them-

It's a chemical

... because I have felt it.

Yep.

And no wonder they stay on it-

Yeah

... because they don't want to go through that.

Right.

You know?

It's horrible.

That's horrible.

Yeah.

Yeah. But this is society.

Did it keep you from working when you were going through that transition?

Or did you miss days, time?

I did miss days.

Days.

I was sick.

Yeah.

I was sick coming off of it.

Yeah.

They took me off one and put me on something else that supposedly has bad side

effects, so we'll see.

Mm.

But then I ran out of that one over a weekend.

Mm-hmm.

And I was sick again until Monday morning when I can get a new refill, you know?

Wow.

Yeah, so it's, there's no good in pharmaceuticals. You're just stuck.

Yeah.

And we got to figure out how to get unstuck.

Choosing our poison.

Yeah. It's all poison.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah. But you're in pursuit of the answer, and you're finding things along the way,

so.

And I just want to share with people that this water has a lot of benefits.

Yeah.

It has so many more benefits than I've even mentioned.

Yeah.

From cleaning supplies. I think that also I've been convinced that if it smells

clean, it's good. I don't know about you, but I'm one that will say, "Oh, I love to

come home after the housekeeper's been at my house.

It smells so good."

I love that.

You know?

Mm-hmm.

But when in actuality, the cleaning doesn't have to smell.

No.

You know what I mean?

It's probably estrogens.

Yeah. There's a water that you could use.

It's the 11.5 that's a disinfectant that can be used on surfaces.

Wow.

I use it in my shop, my own Wet mop.

Okay.

And it's the best. It's clean and it cleans the floors, and-

Nothing else added to it?

Nothing.

Wow.

I just use my 11.5 in my

vac mop.

That's awesome.

And I go for it. And

I have to vacuum first though, because I have a dog, and it sheds.

Oh, yeah.

I vacuum first and then I use the vac mop, and I use 11.5 inside there, and it

doesn't smell-

Yeah

... but I know that it's clean.

Mm-hmm.

You can use it as a laundry soap.

Oh.

You can use it on your face.

Wow.

Yeah. That's crazy. It's just-

That's fantastic. But I mean, the pH makes sense.

Yes.

That's what we're playing with here, the pH.

Right. It's all about the pH.

Yeah.

It's all about, we don't

realize that what's in our water and

if we raise the pH, the electricity value of the water, what it can do.

Yep. Conductivity.

Yes.

Yep.

It's all about the electricity and stuff like that.

Yeah.

Different things.

Yeah. That gives perspective on all the water choices that-

Yeah

... I've ignored that as a consumer. I know better, but I'm ready to do better.

Right. But a lot of people don't even know better to even start to do better.

So we just have to let people know.

Talk about it.

Yeah. To talk about it.

Yeah. And I would love to try some of the samples and-

Yeah, definitely. I'm ashamed of myself for not bringing you samples.

No, don't be. No.

But yeah.

We're local.

Yeah, absolutely. Now that I know where the studio's at.

Yeah. And my clinic is at the marketplace, so.

Oh. Well, that's right down the street from me.

Perfect.

That's why it's not attached.

Yeah, and I have a patient of mine that she has a recurrent stye.

Mm-hmm.

And it's always in the same space, and usually it fails topical ointment

that's antibiotic.

Mm-hmm.

So an alternative option, especially something besides for the-

Oh, oh

... antibiotics.

Yeah. I will definitely bring you something for her.

She'll be so happy.

Yeah. So our 7.5, our neutral water, is good for taking your medication.

Okay.

It's good for the baby formula, like I had mentioned. CPAP machines.

Mm-hmm.

Like you have to use instead of using-

The sterile water

... sterile water, or what do they call it?

Saline.

What you used to put in your car batteries. I don't know.

Oh, gosh. I don't know.

Right? That's a long time ago.

I don't go under the hood.

No?

You don't want me messing around in there.

No.

Yeah, but you buy it, people have to go to the store and buy the sterile water for

their CPAP machines.

Oh.

This, you use neutral water, you don't have to go buy that.

Okay.

Therefore, you're not throwing away another gallon bottle of plastic.

Yeah.

Adding to the problem.

The mountain.

The mountain, Texas, that's floating in the middle of the ocean.

That's terrible.

Yeah. So it's good for baby formula, for taking your meds.

It's great for my plants, okay?

Oh.

And I am all about my plants. And so-

There's so much life in plants. Like real plants.

Yes. Real plants. And it's great for the plants.

Yeah.

Inside and outside, I feed all my plants the 7.5.

I love that.

And it's just the touch of the button on this machine, and it's not putting heavy

metals in my plants.

Wow.

And they just love it.

Plants are just so... I feel like they have a language we haven't tapped into yet.

Oh, definitely. Yeah.

Right?

My plants, definitely. And then there's the, so we can talk about the 6.0, which is

the beauty water, the detangler for your skin.

It's good for the stye and stuff like that.

You can even clean mirrors, streak-free mirrors with the clean water-

Interesting

... with that 6.0 because the pH value.

Yeah.

And the electricity on it.

Just enough to break up the debris-

Yeah

... and make it move.

And then the 11.5, that's the disinfectant and stuff like that, that I was telling

you about, that I use for cleaning, using my laundry.

You can even take a shot of 11.5 if you have a night drinking or whatever like

that, and wake up.

Wow.

It's like an aspirin. You take a little shot of 11.5-

Interesting

... and it's like taking an aspirin so you don't have a hangover in the morning.

Like 1 cc?

Yeah, like a shot glass.

Oh, I was thinking injection. I'm like, "Where are we going with this?"

No, we're not injecting nothing. This is all, and you're not going to take a lot.

You're going to take a little-

I was ready.

You're going to take a little shot, like a shot glass.

You can inject me. Let's do it tomorrow.

Instead of tequila, let's go for the water.

And it's like your aspirin before you go to bed-

Yeah

... after drinking your wine, so that's so you don't wake up with a hangover.

That's beautiful.

And so one of the people that are on my team, his mom, and her and her friends,

they drink wine and stuff like that.

And that's how he got his mom to buy one of these machines, because he's like,

"Hey, Mom, if you guys drink 11.5, just a shot of it before you go to bed, you

won't wake up with those hangovers, those headaches."

Wow.

And so his mom and her friends, the mom bought one because it helped.

Mm-hmm.

And then her friend bought one, and then another friend bought one.

That's awesome. So really what I'm hearing is that it seems to support the liver.

Right.

Is there anything that you know about that?

And I will look it up, but-

Right. I feel, like I said-

That's why you have the spot.

... I really wish that somebody was available from my team that could've been here

with me to support this morning.

You're doing great. No.

Thank you. I mean, but she-

But it does sound like liver support.

Yeah. But she knows all boom, boom, boom, boom. But yeah.

The physiology and the mechanisms.

Right.

You're doing pretty good. It makes sense it's ionized.

Right. Thank you. I appreciate it.

Yeah.

But I do know that it has a lot of liver support, and the kidneys, because it takes

out the high metals and stuff like that.

Yeah.

It separates as it goes through the machine. It separates the...

Hold on, I have that.

So it separates, it goes through two ionite. This is an anoyde.

Yeah.

And this is a cathodeoyde.

Yeah.

So this takes the negative-

Yeah

... and this is the positive.

Mm-hmm.

Or opposite, I'm sorry.

Yeah.

This is the positive, and this is the negative.

Mm-hmm.

So you're getting the negative energy of water.

That's what you actually want, a negative.

Like a negative 400, 500-

Mm-hmm

... is that's what our water is. But if you took an

OR meter-

Mm-hmm

... and you did other bottled water and stuff like that, they're like a positive

400, a positive 300.

Yeah.

You don't want positive, you want negative, because a negative is anti-aging-

Okay

... and a positive is aging, high acidity.

Okay.

And so that this is like-

So be negative?

Be negative. Right?

Oh.

Yeah.

I couldn't resist.

Yeah.

But yeah.

Be negative.

That's interesting.

So I imagine that's what, you're talking about the liver, that-

Yeah

... you're taking out those hydrogen-

Yeah

... and the oxidation and stuff like that.

There's hydrogen therapy, so it makes sense.

Right.

I don't, off the top of my head, know if the hydrogen therapy

that I have seen is out there, if that is a positive charge.

I think it has a net positive. I'll have to look it up.

So I think it sounds similar, but different.

Yeah. I have to look that up, too.

Yeah.

But the hydrogen, or the

negative or the positive, it takes out the chlorine, it takes out the nitrogen, it

takes out the sulfates, and it takes out the carbonated irons and stuff like that.

That's preservatives.

Yes.

That's fantastic.

It takes that out of our water. And it's also micro, so when it goes through the

machine, it can split a cell of water into three, so it absorbs better.

Oh, great.

It absorbs into your bloodstream faster.

Yeah.

So I know that you work out and stuff like that, so have you ever taken a bottle?

I try.

And you look great.

Thank you.

I watch your videos and you're pushing that machine.

I'm like, "Oh, she's inspiring me."

It was fun.

Oh, you did good. I was like-

Thanks

... yeah.

It really burned me out, because you saw, I don't know if you saw, but I went all

the way down-

I did

... and the turf and then back. By the time I made it back, I had no other, there

was no more gas in the tank.

Oh, man.

I'm glad I came.

I couldn't believe you went both way.

I don't even know if I can go all the way one way, much less there and back.

It was really hard.

Yeah. I'm impressed.

Thank you.

Yeah. But have you ever drunken a bottle of water, and you take quite a bit of

water, and then you keep working out, you're jogging or whatever, and you get that

pain?

Yeah.

It's because that water is not absorbing into your body correctly.

Yeah.

You know what I mean? That's not the pH that we need the,

it's not ionized the way for it to absorb into your body for

what you're looking for.

Yeah.

This, I've drank, I've gulped it down, and you don't feel full from it.

Yeah.

You know what I mean? It's good water where you don't feel full.

Yeah.

Because it absorbs into the body.

It does make sense. If you think about, there's a mechanical stretch on your

esophagus, and that activates- The whole pathway of your digestive tract.

Okay.

And then there's the chemical, electrical signal as well.

So we're doing all of those things.

See if that makes sense to you.

Yeah. It does make sense.

You're even making it make more sense to me.

Yeah. And I'm also thinking about the pH from the mouth.

It's acidic, but it gets less acidic here, and then it gets more acidic in your

stomach.

Right. You

want your stomach acidic to break down.

Yeah.

You know?

I think it's a pH of four-ish.

That's what I heard. Yeah.

Yeah.

And to break down. There's some people that have GERD or like-

Yes. Like the acid coming-

Yeah

... past the sphincter.

And the 7.0 is really good. Like they could drink that and like balance out.

Put the fire out.

Yeah. Maybe it's the 6.0. Put the fire out. Exactly.

Exactly.

This type of water has over 101 uses, you know what I mean?

Wow.

From antacids like that-

Yeah

... to glass cleaner. It's just like there's 101 uses that it's like, "Oh, I have

water for that. Oh, I have water for that."

It makes total sense, especially if you're looking at a high pH, like pH of 11

for cleaning.

Uh-huh.

If you're thinking about what am I cleaning? Well, bacteria.

I want to definitely kill bacteria.

Right.

Bacteria typically does not survive in certain ranges.

Some are built for the stomach acid, like H.

pylori, which is very rare, and then very rare meaning like we just know of

one main player that is impactful at the stomach.

Otherwise, it's more basic, more alkaline.

Mm-hmm.

So it makes sense, like the science

is supportive.

Right.

Yeah.

I'm glad it makes sense to you.

Yeah.

And again, I really wish that I could provide you with more details-

No, you're doing great

... and you know.

Yeah.

This is a picture of the actual machine.

I'm going to try it.

Okay. This is-

I was ready to take an injection.

No. No injections. This is what I'm talking about, the machine itself.

These are some just simple operations.

Yeah.

The different levels that you know, what water you're looking for.

This just is a diagram of, this is the pre-filter that goes through.

These are the plates.

Oh.

It comes out here. This comes out the bad-

Mm-hmm

... like this high acidic water-

Mm-hmm

... comes out of here, and then after it goes through, this is all the good.

Okay.

But if you wanted like a higher acidic water-

Mm-hmm

... for like the cleaning or the 2.5-

Mm-hmm

... the disinfectant and the strong acid water-

Mm-hmm

... you can actually use that 2.5 down here.

So it just depends on what you're using.

Yeah. And then it's such a simple operation.

Some people think, "Oh, it's too confusing to me," and it's really not.

I'm letting all you guys see.

Right?

And in our audience.

Mm-hmm.

Ah.

Oh, we have an audience member with us today. Yeah.

But I love it because it's just great.

It's good after you work out-

Yeah

...

after you work out, you want to rehydrate.

Yes.

You know?

Replace your electrolytes that you sweat out because you did a great workout.

You did a great workout.

Mm-hmm.

I watched.

Are you into any like-

I like to walk

... activities? Okay.

I walk. I used to do long-distance walking with my dog and stuff like that until

I had a fall.

You're back.

Now I'm getting back into things after a fall.

Yeah.

Yeah.

It's okay. The recovery part takes time.

It's never too late, right?

It's never too late.

Right.

So the goal for me that I have that I'm not doing is 10,000 steps daily.

Right.

That's for my heart health. It really kind of resets a lot, calibrates a lot of

your systems.

Right.

So that's my next mission. I need to hit that. So wish me luck.

Yeah, I used to hit that until I got a sit-down job and yeah.

They have walking pads now. I want to get one of those.

Right.

Type.

Mm-hmm.

Don't fall.

Yeah. Stand up.

Keep walking.

Yeah. I can even walk and talk.

Yeah.

Chew gum.

It could be dangerous, or it could go really well.

Right.

We'll see.

We'll see.

Do you use a wearable device to track your activity vitals or anything?

I don't, no.

I would.

Yeah.

That's my little two cents.

No, I've been looking, like at the ring. I like the ring.

Yeah.

I don't like the watch. I don't know.

The iWatch is too stimulating to me.

Well, I'm always on the phone anyway.

Yeah.

You know what I mean?

And it's like, "Good job."

But yeah.

Like so and so worked out. It's too interactive. I'm like, "I have a job.

Leave me alone."

"You're bothering me."

Not now.

I like the ring. The ring, it looks cool, and-

Yeah

... you can keep track of your heartbeat and everything like that, your heart rate

and-

Yes. Yeah, and in my case, I really was shocked at so how stressed am I?

When do I peak in my stress? How am I handling my stress?

Because our ability to sense all those things, that's vagal nerve health.

So if I'm already not in a good state of

health and my vagal nerve is not optimized, I can't sense.

My sensor is going to be off, so then I need an external device to really hone in.

So in my case, the HRV is what I was looking at, and you really want to be closer

to like 94. You want a high HRV.

Mm-hmm.

And that means that you are handling stress really well. Mine was terrible.

Yeah.

I was like, "I thought I felt fine." I was like, "Huh, maybe my vagal nerve needs

some adjustment."

Interesting.

Yeah, and breathing techniques apparently are the pathway to optimize the vagal

nerve.

Absolutely, yeah.

Yeah. Who'd have known?

My friends always tell me, "Just breathe, Rhonda.

Just breathe."

Yeah. No, believe them. That's like, yeah, I will.

Hyperventilating.

I know. I'm like, "Wait." Breathe differently than that.

Right.

Yeah. Or there's those devices that sit on your baroreceptors, so those are...

I haven't tried it yet, but have you heard of them?

No. What is that?

Yeah. Pulsetto is one. That's one brand that's out there, and it kind of looks like

a half necklace or like-

Right. I thought those were fans or something that-

There's fans, and it's similar

... I don't know. That looks similar. Okay.

Yeah. Based on the shape of your neck, I feel like most people, the Pulsetto

sits properly.

Uh-huh.

But I have had a few clients that they're like, "Well, it just didn't sit at the

right place," if you have like a long skinny neck.

So that was how I would describe the people who maybe it didn't work for.

Interesting.

Yeah. But it just kind of gives a little electrical pulse. Not a shock.

See? Nope, but see, it's all about electricity.

It is.

Again, it all goes back to electricity.

Yes.

You know?

Yeah.

Yeah. Tesla was onto something.

Definitely. Yeah, so anyway, I don't know. Maybe you can just like tap them.

Yeah, there's tools out there, and medication's not the only pathway.

It really comes down to increasing our activity,

making these adjustments with-

Yeah

... right, the recommendation, food.

There's been a lot of people that have talked about how they drink the water, and

their anxiety has lessened.

I believe it.

Anxiety, their brain activity is, like I said, their brain

fog.

Yeah.

The clarity.

Huge.

Huge.

Yeah. Like our ability to think and to speak and our

nervous system, that's all the same operating system.

Right.

So it makes sense, and that's electrical.

And we are water and electric.

Yeah.

You know?

Makes sense to me.

It does. It just made sense, and it's like-

Yeah

... yeah.

It's almost like regular bottled water is pointless. That's what we're taking away.

That's my takeaway.

It's a huge market.

Yeah.

I heard the market is something like $17 billion market a year for bottled water.

Water is a great industry. It is.

It is a great industry, but how many of those waters are actually what they say

they are? Or spring water. How many people are taking their trucks up to this

natural spring and bringing back some water?

It's like the lowest form of water.

And then as soon as they put it in a bottle, it starts aging you.

It starts aging the bottle. The bottle's meant to deteriorate.

No thanks. No spring, please.

You know what I mean? So it's like, yeah, they call it spring water, but as soon as

they put it in a plastic bottle, it starts absorbing the microplastics.

Yeah.

Or the microplastics start breaking down.

Yep.

And then when you drink that, then not only are you drinking tap water that they

call spring water, you're drinking the microplastics they put it in there to get it

to you.

Yeah.

And it's probably taken them six months to a year to even put it on the shelf.

Yeah.

You know? I know that there's a brand starting with the word S and-

Fiji.

Yeah. It takes a year to get here. And yeah.

What is this water doing?

Exactly. It's like-

What, does it have a job like elsewhere first?

It sits on the docks, and it's like in this high heat element.

No.

So what happens with plastic? They tell you not to drink your water after you leave

it in your car one day. How's your-

They do say that

... how's your plastic bottles getting to the market?

You think that they're refrigerating them to get to the market?

I thought they did.

No. You know, every-

I hope that they scooped it directly from the waterfall-

Yeah

... and then put it to the beautiful bottle, and then they put it right on the-

In a refrigerated truck-

Immediately

... and then right to the store.

Immediately, yeah.

So, I mean, if everybody knows not to drink that bottle of water that's been

sitting in your car overnight.

Ugh.

Do you think that that water's been refrigerated sitting on the pallet in the

grocery store?

No.

You know?

I know. I know you're right.

And it drips.

And like if-

Just all those little things that-

Yeah

... we have to say, "Hmm."

Yeah, no, definitely.

Yeah.

And there's times where I'm desperate, I'm like, "Okay, I just-"

I've got to be really desperate

.

I'm going to raise my standard.

Yeah.

There's times where I have a plastic bottle-

Right

... in my car, and we're here, and it's like in the 100-somethings, right?

And then I'm like-

You don't go out and get that plastic bottle.

I'm really thirsty, though.

The toilet is probably like-

I'm like, "What?"

You're probably better to go drink out the toilet. Get your cup.

From the back. Not the, like, you know-

Yeah

... from the back of it.

Oh, I'm glad you said that. I would've gone for the bowl.

No.

I was already like reading my cup in the bowl.

I don't know if the back of the water's any better, but you know.

Desperate times.

Yeah. I'm telling you, if you're that desperate, you might as well drink out of the

back of the toilet .

The fact that the water bottles in heat change shape.

Yes.

That tells us everything.

Everything you need to know.

It's melted, it's like diffused to the water.

There's less plastic now that is structure. It's now in the solution.

It's in the water.

Right. And the fact that that plastic bottle is made to disintegrate in the earth.

Yeah.

That has to like... Do you think that has a timer, like, "Okay, once I'm drank,

then I'm going to start," you know?

Wait till I... Yeah. Wait till we do our part.

Yeah. Yeah. And then the fact that, another thing I have a problem with, is that

they charge us a recycling fee.

Do they?

And then-

Where?

When you buy a plastic bottle-

Oh, okay

... a case of water, you have to pay a recycling of 20 cents or whatever, right?

Oh my gosh.

For each bottle.

Yeah. Yeah.

Okay. So we're paying this recycling fee, and

the majority of those plastic does not get recycled.

It's like-

Oh my gosh

... that's the island of Texas in the middle of the ocean, you know?

Oh.

Think about it. It's like the craziest thing.

I did not even know that that was a thing.

You knew, but you never-

I didn't know where it was

... put it together.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Like landfills, right? Yeah.

Well, we pay that fee because so they can recycle it.

Okay.

But why are we paying a fee when they're not recycling it, when it's floating in

the ocean?

Trash is such an industry, too.

It is. And I heard that they were sending it overseas.

Oh, yeah. To China, right?

They were sending it to China.

Yeah.

But I hear the majority of it doesn't actually...

China doesn't do anything with it.

They're probably the ones building things in the middle of the ocean.

How do we even know better?

I don't... We-

How do we do better?

We need to do better. People don't want to know better.

I think that-

I'm ready to know better

... but I think that we put our trust in the wrong people.

Yes.

You know what I mean?

Yes.

And we got to rely on our neighbor to educate you and not like the TV or social

medias and stuff like that.

Yeah.

You know? And that's what I want to do with the water.

Yeah.

I'm not looking to get rich, not a get rich quick.

It's just been like-

Yeah

... it makes sense. Back to basics.

Right.

Let's just share this-

Yeah

... and make sense of it. You know?

Right.

And the more people that are educated, the more educated, get, you know-

Better decisions

... decisions we can make.

Yeah. Yeah.

And then be better for our kids.

Yeah.

You know, we're all about leaving the earth better for our kids-

Yeah

... but what are we

doing to them?

Yeah.

You know?

Garbage.

It's sad.

Yeah. It is hard to figure out what to eat.

But there's better options that are coming up, so we just have to know to look for

them and keep asking for better food and-

Right

... yeah, food intelligence is what I call it.

Yeah. I go back to that plastic that's floating around the earth. I like fish.

I love fish.

Yeah.

You know?

Yeah.

Salmon, I love my fish.

Yeah.

But if my fish is eating that plastic and I'm eating that fish, it's a terrible

thing.

You've now eaten plastic.

You've now...

Yeah.

Kind of defeats the purpose-

It's horrible

... you know what I mean? Of eating clean when we're throwing garbage out

everywhere.

Yeah. Yeah.

And I want to water my dogs with good water, so I mean-

No, they need to live forever.

They do.

Forever.

They don't live long enough then.

Oh, not ours.

Yeah.

Ours are going to be optimized.

How old's Jax?

He's seven.

Okay. Jojo's eight. Yeah. They're the best.

Yeah. I feel like Jax is probably, if you do the math, he's my age.

Yeah.

He's like middle-aged.

No, and Joey's like just two, and Joey's age.

She like runs around.

Oh, I love that.

Yeah. They're fun.

Yeah. I have him on vitamins and collagen.

Nice.

The vitamins come in cubes-

Uh-huh

... and he likes those, but he's pretty picky.

And see, Joey won't eat any of those.

I try to get her like, "Hey, this is beef flavored." Let's get her to eat it.

She won't. She won't eat anything.

She's like, "Sorry."

No. But when it's, she's got her time-

Yeah

... and she'll tell me what time it is by, like she knows what time it is.

Yeah.

She wakes me up to get her sausage in the morning.

Yeah.

She's got a particular sausage she likes, and she'll start barking at me at 7:00 at

night when it's time for the sausage at night.

And then she'll bark at me at 8:00 when it's time to go to bed.

My dogs dictate my life.

She knows three words.

Yes.

Well, really one word three times.

Yeah. It's like-

Sausage

... sausage two times a day, and then bed.

Yeah.

Yeah, they get mad. I mean, if I have a friend over or whatever, they'll start

licking my friends to death. It's kind of like, "Let's annoy them till they leave

so we can take my mom to bed."

That's funny. No, Jax will do like a dead hard stare, and even turn his head.

I'm not confused. This little guy is telling me-

Mm-hmm

... "I heard you."

Mm-hmm.

"Okay, now I was yelling." It's like capitalized text now.

Yeah, like, "Did you hear me?"

Yeah. The eyebrow raise. I'm like, "Stop."

Right. The guilt. I'm surprised you don't bring him to work with you.

I know. I want to.

Yeah, you should. Yeah. You just don't want him to take over your show?

Well, yeah. He's a big personality, small guy.

They're good.

Gosh, well, thank you so much for joining us today.

Thank you for having me. I really appreciate it.

Like I said-

This was fun

... I've never done anything like this before. I wished I had more information.

No, you did great.

I appreciate it.

This is just, it really is.

I hope you got a taste, like-

Yeah

... a little bit of information that we could start with-

Yeah

...
